Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all work carried out by Powered Heating. By instructing Powered Heating to undertake any work, the customer agrees to these terms.

Powered Heating reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

2. Call-Outs & Reactive Work

• Standard call-out charges apply Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
• The initial call-out charge covers the first hour, including diagnosis and labour.
• Materials and parts are not included and will be charged separately.
• Any additional labour required after the first hour will be charged at the agreed hourly rate.
• Reactive work is carried out on a best-endeavours basis, particularly where existing systems are aged, previously modified, or worked on by others.

3. Payment Terms

• Payment is required in full upon completion of the job, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payment is due on the same day the work is completed.
• Powered Heating reserves the right to withhold certification, documentation, or warranties until payment has been received in full.
• Late or non-payment may result in additional charges or recovery action.

4. Boiler Installations

• Boiler installations are carried out following a site survey and written quotation.
• Quotations are valid for a limited time as stated on the quote.
• Any additional work identified during installation that was not included in the original quotation will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.
• Manufacturer warranties apply subject to correct installation, registration, servicing, and use.
• Powered Heating is not responsible for faults arising from existing pipework, radiators, controls, or systems not replaced as part of the installation.

5. Bathroom Installations

• Bathroom installations are quoted following a site visit or detailed specification.
• The quotation covers only the work and items listed.
• Any additional work, unforeseen issues (including hidden pipework, structural issues, or existing defects), or customer-requested changes will be charged separately.
• Final appearance may vary slightly due to product availability, existing conditions, or customer-supplied materials.

6. Warranty & Guarantees

• All workmanship is covered by a 12-month workmanship warranty, unless otherwise stated.
• This warranty covers labour only and does not include manufacturer-supplied parts or materials.
• The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, blockages, damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party interference, or issues arising from existing systems not installed by Powered Heating.
• Manufacturer warranties apply separately and are subject to their own terms.

7. Access & Safety

• The customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property.
• Powered Heating reserves the right to stop work if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
• Delays caused by restricted access may result in additional charges.

8. Cancellations

• Call-outs cancelled with short notice may still be chargeable.
• Installation work cancelled after materials have been ordered may incur costs for labour and materials already committed.

9. Liability

• Powered Heating holds public liability insurance.
• Liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.
• Powered Heating shall not be held liable for indirect or consequential losses.
